| The only thing that stays the same in life is 'change.'
Thankfully, my waistline has stayed the same for a while. Other than that, plenty has changed.
Jeralynne coming into my life when I least expected it is an amazing change that I'm so VERY thankful for. Prayer and "prayer upon prayer" since our meeting have been so confirming. Her spirit blesses me in so many ways, and together we feel God working through us.
Not only do I enjoy helping her with Supper Club (a monthly reunion of friends from Jeralynne's time in college, mostly with Campus Crusade for Christ), but we've also started Bible Study Club, which meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. Separate from Bible Study Club, Jeralynne and I also attend a Wednesday night study through her church. We both love digging deeply into God's word, praying, and worshiping together. I'm so looking forward to having a lifetime of doing that with her.

My next book, Creating Passion-Driven Teams, is now available! Only $14.97 and FREE SHIPPING. (that's a six percent savings - regular price: $15.99) Just place your order to the right. I'll autograph each copy, too.
Even more savings: Save 21 percent if you order six or more!
A lot must get done between now and the book's release date, so much of my time is focused on that.
On the personal side, I'm so very thankful that I've broken out of the work-a-holic habit, and now when I knock off work, I truly leave it behind and focus my attention on my family. I finally feel like I have a life. Thanks to God for that opportunity.
PS. No doubt you've heard about donating blood. But have you heard about donating blood platelets? Not everyone can do it, so the Red Cross doesn't promote it as heavily, but the need is great. It's done through a process called apheresis. Platelets are often in short supply -- much more so than whole blood. More often than you might imagine, doctors will huddle in the hospital and decide which patients are more critical to receive the one or two units of platelets available. Why the shortage? Because whole blood has a shelf life of 31 days --- but platelets have a shelf life of only five days. It is a tremendous feeling knowing that your platelets will probably help save the life of someone you will never meet. If you have the inclination, I encourage you to check with your local red cross about giving platelets. |
